Welcome to Liberated Living!
Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m a Mental Health Counselor and Eating Disorder Therapist, licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Iowa. I specialize in helping people heal their relationships with food, their bodies, and themselves. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Siena College and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Iona University (formerly Iona College). For the past six years, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting adults through eating disorder recovery, body image concerns, and the emotional struggles that often accompany them.
I know how exhausting it can feel to live with constant worry, fear, or self-criticism, and how overwhelming it can be to imagine a different way forward. But recovery is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we can explore what healing looks like for you and work toward a life that feels more peaceful and fulfilling. I’d be honored to get to know you and support you on that journey.

Unlock Your Best Self!
At Liberated Living Therapy, I offer a warm and welcoming space where you can begin to feel more at ease in your relationship with food, your body, and yourself. Struggles with eating, body image, and anxiety are often about much more than food. They’re tied to how you cope with stress, how you see yourself, and how you've learned to manage emotions. Therapy gives us a place to look at the deeper layers of what’s going on, so we can start making real, lasting changes.
If you feel stuck thinking about food all the time, constantly worry about your body, or feel weighed down by anxiety or low mood, you are not alone. These struggles can be exhausting. You might feel like no matter how hard you try, it’s never enough, and the pressure to keep it all together is just too much.
In our sessions, we’ll talk openly about what you’re going through without judgment. Together, we’ll look at how past experiences and current stressors may be shaping the way you think, feel, and relate to others. We’ll also find practical ways to break out of the patterns that are making you feel stuck, whether that’s negative self-talk, emotional eating, or feeling like you’re always trying to be perfect.
My approach is based on building trust and helping you feel safe to be yourself. We’ll move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. This could mean learning how to handle anxious thoughts, becoming more connected to your body, or feeling more confident in your choices.
Imagine feeling calmer around food, more comfortable in your own skin, and more present in your everyday life. Whether you’re just beginning this work or have been on this path for a while, we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, more hopeful, and more in control of your life.
